Dr. Quan Dao received her Bachelor’s of Arts in both Integrative Biology and Gender and Woman’s studies from the University of California, Berkeley. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University. During her time in school, she participated in multiple mission trips to rural areas, including Oregon and Cambodia to provide free eye care/resources during her spring/winter breaks. Her clinical externships included National wide Medical Center in Arizona, Portland VA, Naval Medical Center in San Diego, and an internal vision therapy/pediatric rotation at Pacific University. After optometry school, Dr. Dao completed a one-year residency program in Ocular Disease at the University of California, Berkeley. She has special interests in ocular disease, pre- and post- surgical management, myopia control, and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Dao is a community-minded clinician, providing care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Dao is able to serve her patients in both English, Vietnamese, and basic Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, trying out new restaurants, and traveling to national parks.
